Unilever House HQ, Blackfriars Bridge
This was another occupied office with many restrictions regarding access and noise. In addition high security operated at all times, requiring pass systems for our employees. The façade is Grade II listed and Unilever was keen to keep the traditional look of the building whilst using the opportunity to upgrade the fenestration. Again all works were undertaken outside normal working hours. The full refurbishment/redecoration scope was undertaken to 300 windows including reglazing with double glazed units, using purpose made beading to accommodate the small rebates. In many delicate areas it also involved the removal of windows for renovation off site and several replacements.
