Block W5, 175 Regent Street. We were employed by a regular Client, Skanska UK Building Ltd, for the window replacement to the façade of Block W5. Here we replaced the existing with W40 steel windows with a high specification double glazed unit. Also in order to meet the thermal and acoustic requirements, we supplied and installed the secondary glazing.
The shopfronts in New Burlington Place were required to match the existing bronze section. We suggested to the Client a more cost effective option to the client, of replicating the section in steel and spraying them with a metallic bronze paint to achieve the desired overall effect. Guidion House, Fleet in Hampshire was a problematic project where we adopted the role of Principal Contractor for our Client, Cahit Atasoy at Trafalgar House Property. The original window installation had failed and the tenants, British Telecom were within their rights to request relocation whilst the complete replacement of the 720 Schucco ribbon style windows was undertaken. We were employed to undertake these works having direct liaison with the tenant, encompassing all works including design installation and scaffolding. In order to accommodate British Telecom all works were undertaken during unsociable hours. This was a challenging contract which was completed successfully and with all parties happy with the outcome.
